STiM private company was established in 1998. The company produces road marking machines along with road marking materials and is also involved in the road striping activities. Although the company is of a relatively young age, lately it has obtained considerable achievements in its profile field. During the past three years of its work the company has gained a dominant position in Belarus in the 3 basic spheres of STiM’s activity (i.e. road marking materials, road marking equipment and road marking). At present time STiM is the only manufacturer and supplier of road marking machines in Belarus, controlling thus all the Belarussian market. The company successfully sells its machines in the Russian, Ukrainian, Baltic, Middle East and Eastern Europe markets owning to the fact, that STiM benefits a lot from the advanced and versatile technologies of airless and pneumatic road marking machines. All the spare parts range is supplied from the best world manufacturers. That comes forward as a guaranty of the highest standards of the road marking equipment.

 STiM is registered in the Free Economic Zone “BREST” and thus is exempt from some taxes and customs duties. This fact, as well as relatively cheap, but still highly qualified labor force, makes STiM’s prices much lower than these for the analogous equipment of the western competing producers. All the marking equipment can be mounted on the Russian made vehicles what makes STiM’s road marking machines competitive particularly in the Russian and CIS countries markets. However, highly qualified staff of STiM are able to mount marking equipment on any world manufacturer’s chassis. We can also offer a whole range of the road marking equipment beginning with easy-to-handle walk behind units and going up to complex but still easy-to-handle hydraulic truck-mounted machines.

Now a few words about the road marking paints production. According to the report of the Belarussian Institute for Road Research, in 2007 STiM’s traffic paints were used for 95% of the road striping jobs in Belarus. The company sells the paints in Russia as well. In 2007 it gained up to 15 % of the Russian market.

 STiM takes part in the international road equipment exhibitions in Moscow (Russia), Kemerovo (Russia), Astrahkan (Russia), Kielce (Poland) where it traditionally has a big success. In 2002, 2004, 2006 and 2008 the Company came up with its striping equipment and materials at the biggest International Intertraffic Trade Fair in Amsterdam, the Netherlands. STiM Company is not limited only to road marking machines and materials manufacturing but also executes governmental road marking contracts. In 2007 STiM striped all national roads in Minsk and Brest regions of Belarus including the Belarussian part of the Warsaw – Moscow highway. Within 2000 and 2007 STiM’s road marking teams striped plenty of roads in Russia and in Ukraine. The fact that STiM’s activities cover the whole spectrum of road marking as well as participation in international exhibitions proves the company’s rich experience in this sphere.

STiM, working in difficult economic and legal conditions of Belarus, manages to double its turnover every year, gaining thus new markets. The STiM’s strategic goal for the year of 2008 is to gain a larger part of the Russian, Ukrainian and Baltic States’ markets in the sphere of road marking as well as to extend its activities and influence into the Eastern Europe countries, USA, India, Turkey, Iran, Morocco, the Gulf Region countries etc. All these achievements give evidence of the professionalism of STiM’s managers and the whole staff in general that presently counts more than 300 persons.
